Metallic grind noise
2 Attachment(s)
I just installed kw v3's and got new wheels -- 18x9.5 x43 all around. camber is running at -1.5 rear and lowered to about 13in hub to fender. I noticed that when I take hard turns I've developed a metallic grinding nose in the rear. Looked under the car and noticed that a hose as been worn down on both sides, from I can assume is the parking brake line. Anyone had this issue and know of a fix, though I probably need a new line at this point because of the wear? I cant tell if the bracket connected to the trailing arm is involved or not.

Welcome, Vtplm to our happy gang -
FYI, the parking brake is a mechanical thing (but I don't know if the cable is inside that hose?) I'm not sure what I'm looking at in your pictures, so I will pass and hopefully others will be along soon to help you out - :) humfrz |
Yep you done hella-fucked your car.
101 wheel fitment basics. But man ol man can it park hard bro! That aside..... zip ties, wheel spacer would be simple fix. Assuming that cable thingy can be moved. Proper fix is to sell car or burn it, buy a Honda or what ever 240/Miata you can get. |
