New OFT Freezing Up on Make/Model
 

I’ve tried multiple times following the instructions on the back of the OFT v2 box, as well as videos online. Whenever I select the make/model the OFT completely freezes. OFT is updated through the latest update on Open Flash Manager. (2017 Toyota 86 M/T) Attempted to: Reset ECU via Battery disconnect and pulling fuse. Multiple attempts of following the online videos/box instructions. (Doors closed, all lights off, radio off.) No damage to either car female port or OFT cable and pins. Tried using other makes (FRS/BRZ) with the same result of beeping and freezing as the Toyota 86 option. No reply to my ticket after a few days, and was hoping someone here would have further guidance, or experienced something similar and had resolved it.

It possible oft has hardware fault.


Only thing I can think of is update the template file, if its V2 make sure you use V2 template as the V1 is for the old tablet different screen.

Updating the template to v2 worked! Thank you so much, this headache is finally over.
