Idler Pulley Noise
Hello all, recently my BRZ has been making a high pitched whine noise coming from the front. When you increase the RPMs the noise is more noticeable, and it doesn't matter if it's in neutral or in gear.

Perfect example of a failed bearing.
Notice that all the others literally make no noise. If a bearing makes any noise at all, it is already toast. Good catch. |

Replaced the idler pulley today and the noise is gone. Glad it was something simple to replace.
