How to use ecutek ProECU to read engine code?

Got a CEL today, car drives fine, how do I get the code via ProECU? Does the code automatically pops up when I connect the ecutek cable and identify the car? Further more, can ProECU clear the error code?

Do you have the manual that came with that instrument?

It's really simple, a quick look at ProECU and you'd have found it.....

Either detect the ECU as if going to flash it or select manually:

The bottom option in red will give you any DTCs. The upper options are for if you know which ECU is throwing a code.

What is the reason that often ProEcu doesn t read all the eventual codes that are present or stored, while Techstream (sometimes even Torque) reads them everytime?
I even had a car at one moment pulling p0302 , with the CEL on, Torque could detect the code, while ProEcu read was empty

No idea. Worked a every time for me, but only checked a couple of times. Just let the team know if it doesn't work.

Update on this, my friend who I left my car with to install wheels and tires took liberty of clearing my code, and his device did not have the ability to see exactly which code it was. Right now it’s showing zero engine codes. The car drives normal.

As I said before, ecutek has serious problems about reading codes, like to the point it isnt trusty anymore.. I saw this at least 7 times in the last 2 months

check codes with torque or even better techstream

Now the error code was cleared manually, will it come back if the same issue still exists? Or is it now been suppressed to throw the same CEL again?

only cleares latched alarms, if it occurs again it will trip CEL.

Only way to stop is to disable code in tune and reflash

I don’t mind see it again if it was a legit code, because it was cleared by my wheel installer which noting down the error code.
