Flex Fuel Kit fail visual inspection?

As my next update I am looking at doing OFT Flex Fuel Kit. But from a visual standpoint would a flex fuel kit cause a failure for smog? I know from a header and tune perspective these would need to be returned to stock.

Instant visual failure.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking for others to chime in.

INSTANT. VISUAL. FAILURE.

I have the OFT Flex Fuel mod and I don't see a reason why you would fail the visual inspection. I'm sure you'd fail the sniff test (haven't gotten mine snogged yet), but there's nothing to add under the hood with the OFT.

If you go with Delicious Tuning kit, then yeah, you'd fail since they intercept the fuel line, but with the OFT, it's just a tune so I don't see why you would fail assuming you put the stock headers and the stock tune back in.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong with a reason as to why, please.

I'm just glad they're changing the smog rule to 8 years starting Jan 2019.

That applies for any car purchased during or after 2019 or before?

All frs/brz should be covered.

The only way to test that is to get it smogged and see what they say.
