re-enable cold start on OTS stage 2 plus

Does someone know the values I need to change in rom raider in order to achieve normal cold start? I understand its not needed with catless header but I have a hi flow on the front pipe and would like a normal cold start.

the tune I have is the stage 2 plus v4.03

or, I see many prefer the V2 maps. Do they retain cold start?

v2 retain cold start, just a bit quieter maybe than stock because they lowered a bit the cold idle rpm

to re enable: copy all Idle speed target tables, under Idle control folder from a v2 tune or stock tune

copy the 2 Maf correction after start tables, under Mass airflow/engine load folder from a v2 or stock tune

change Ignition timing post start, under Ignition timing - advance folder from 0 to -15 or -17 (more negative is, louder is)

copy both Catalyst warm up tables, under Ignition Timing - compensation from v2 or stock tune

negative timings and maf compensation would do that job better than just idle rising, that would just increase engine wear with no purpouse

Where can I find V2?

steve99 12-24-2018 12:38 AM

Or copy them from a stock rom

Seems like Shiv removed v2 from his site

Came across this one. Does anyone know how to find and open a stock rom? Mine gave me all sorts of warning/errors...

Hi Steve, just wondering how to read stock ROM? I downloaded ZA1JB01C.ori file from OFT but could not open it correctly.

Thank you!

See the Romraider Tips link below, you wilp need to downlad a stock b01C def file from github . Then you need to have corect def at top of lost in romraider as you open each tune type stock or oft

I still have the V2's on my Gdrive.
OTS V2.067

Carefull to not mix the def's. V2 B01C is totaly different from the V4 B01C.
If you are using the V4 B01C (with V4 definition), just open a V2 B00C (with V2 definition) and copy those values to your V4 B01C.

Hey guys. I'm looking for the MAF Correction after start tables. They are not defined in the previously linked OTS files. I just finished setting up my A01C MAP to try on my 2013 since the B01C definitions were a little wonky. I've been searching for 2 hours, so any help would be appreciated. =)

This is from a different ROM, ZA1JK00C, but it would apply if you're running OFT.

If you need data from ECUtek, I can get it but I'll need o go find my deskey

Thanks, but what I'm looking for is the definitions for the "MAF Correction after start" tables in the ROM's, not for the corrections for the tables. They'll look something like this:

<table name="MAF Correction After Start (Neutral)" address="11c868"/>

<table name="MAF Correction After Start (In Gear)" address="11c964"/>

So I'd need to know which ECT scalar is being used and I need a scaling for the "Idle mode" on the Y axis.

@steve99 Any ideas for me? I looked through some of the ROMRaider stuff but can't find then posted or in the 32bitbase.
