Dash rattle help
I have not been able to find another dash rattle like this when searching around. Was curious to see if anyone else has had this. It is really annoying, almost sounds like there is a wiring connector flopping around behind the head unit.
This rattle does not happen every day... I have tried putting pressure all over the center dash area pieces and nothing changes the noise as all that is why I think it is coming from behind some of the controls or head unit maybe. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1Q...BxZ3hLYzk0ZlNn This not my only rattle.. think I have something that sounds like a loose washer rattling around a screw head in my passenger door at certain RPMs. My head unit vibrates on the plastic trim, and occasionally my rear seat or center tail light rattles. Thanks in advance! |

For the door issue, you're going to need to take the door apart and add some kind of dynamat or felt to the mounts of the speaker and back of the bolts and such and make sure everything is torqued down and "tight" fitting For the head unit rattle you can probably add felt or dynamat to the back of the trim where it seemingly rubs against the head unit or head unit mount brackets You can use these techniques for the other rattles and try to narrow them down, but it's honestly going to be a loosing battle :iono: |
