Louder Engine Noise while Driving

Hello fourms,

I wanted to get your opinion on my engine sound this morning I experienced. Please take a listen and wanted your opinion.*

Normally my engine and acceleration is much quieter. Only change was the header wrap was removed in the past week and engine is much louder. Fluids are good and no leaks. My guess is the Headers without the wrap make it louder since there is more exposed radiant heat.
Should I be concerned?*

Only thing I tested was flashing my OFT tunes from current v4.02 to stock. Loud sounds still exist. Video uses v4.02 and keeps engine quieter.*

Did you hear any of these experiences?*

Current performance mods:
OFT v4.02 Stage 2+
Grams Throttle Body
Perrin Cold Air Intake
Perrin Crank/Alternator/Water pulleys
Cusco Oil Cooler
Perrin Radiator Hoses
PLM UEL noncatted headers
SRS overpipe/midpipe reasonated
Perrin Catback Exhaust

I'm not sure what your question is …….. but, I think your answer is partially correct. Unwrapped header is louder because it lets more sound out ….. :iono:

Next time if you hear a loud exhaust noise or what sounds like a leak you can confirm it by datalogging with the OFT (as long as your not running e85) and looking for high LTFT numbers (5-10 percent). If you have high long term fuel trims then you likely have intake or exhaust leak.
