NS400 bedding and questions
Hey, just picked up some ns400 locally. Noticed the box is empty besides peanut foam.
Any bedding instructions for DD and Canyon carving? Stock caliper, rotors, 17x9 with MPSS. OEM brake fluid (changed at 33k miles, currently at 42k) Do these have any issues w/ stock rotors? Shim? Shimless? Should I stick to OEM fluid or change to ATE at 60k? Thanks! :thanks: |
After warming up your pads a bit with a couple 30 mph to 15 mph stops, do five to ten 60 mph to 20 mph hard stops.
No issues with stock rotors. Shimless if it does not come with any shims in the box. A high temp fluid would be best since you're upgrading to pads with a higher temperature threshold. Not upgrading your brake fluid would be like buying wider wheels and running stretched tires, you're not realizing the full potential. |
They're street pads, not much reason to bed them in, I never did and I'm pretty happy with mine.

I'll be reusing the shims and I'll grab some brake grease/lube |
