Height Adjustment stuck?

I just got done installing my flex coils. I went back to front adjusting the coils as i went.

I don't know the reason behind tightening the set lock so fucking much. The back was were hard to unlock, but nothing I couldn't handle the front one however, been a complete nuisance to say the less.

Is there a technique you guys use to unlock these? I've at it for HOURS!

vice + gentle application of hammer
Or installed on car + gentle application of hammer

Supposedly the adjustment wrench has a square hole in it to allow you to use a breaker bar for more leverage.

Breaker bar into the hole of the spanner. It's a 1/2" drive. Make sure you're turning towards the correct way as well. Here's Tein's video for clarity:
