2016 brz radio in 2013 frs no door speakers

So I recently got a 2016 brz clarion radio for my 2013 frs. My cars stock radio was not a touch screen. Installed it and I have no sound from my door speakers. Everything connected fine besides the USB AUX cord hook up, which apparently doesn't connect to it. Can't seem to find the reason, thought the pins where the same but the one for the amp must be different any information would be great. Also looks like I'm gonna have to take a Dremel to the trim piece to make it fit. Also got a killer deal on it and it's a major upgrade from my pos non touch screen so not really looking to go aftermarket. Don't care about nav either.

Pin 9 on the 28 pin radio connector is the amp turn on for a 2016 BRZ... so you would need to connect that to the proper wire for a 2013 frs for the door speakers to work. Based on what I’ve read, the amp turn on in a 13 FRS would be pin 9 on the 10 pin connector. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attac...4&d=1340370296

So ive tried to find a new female pin so i can just rewire it but it looks to be hard to fine. I was wondering if you or anyone knows if i can connect it to another 12v line and just piggy back off that?

Any switched 12 volt source connected to pin 9 on the 10 pin connector should do the trick I would think.
