My dumb self shorted out the main fuse connected to the battery while installing struts, replaced it 2 days later and nothing is working for the most part. Attaching the left part to the main fuse lets me be able to unlock my car or lock it just to check if power is going through but after one click of the lock or unlock it dies out and im not able to do anything, no lights on my dash, nothin works.
Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! P.S. Its disconnected bc me trying to fix it and yes i’ve tried with everything tightened. https://imgur.com/a/xAqEi04 https://imgur.com/a/xAqEi04 |
Sounds to me like there is another blown fuse somewhere
Not going to ask how you managed to short out a battery when installating struts... or maybe it would help? |
Maybe the battery is run down. You might want to check it's voltage …..:iono:

However i've run into another problem where the passenger door controls don't work ( windows & lock/unlock button ). The courtesy lights aren't on, the window doesn't auto roll down when opening the door but the it unlocks and locks with they key fob controls. I already check fuse #10 & #14, could it be a different one? And no my passenger lock button on the drivers side isn't pushed down. |

I would make time to check your interior box. http://www.autogenius.info/subaru-br...e-box-diagram/ and the dome light, is the switch functions itself not working? Or are you relying on door open/close to test it?

Worst case scenario is that you may have internally shorted something inside the BCU, keep checking the other suggestions

Is the light on the passenger window switch blinking? May just need to relearn the window switch or whatever..
