Tilton master clutch

What have you guys done to use this master clutch? The rod does not have the same thread as the stock one.

I drilled mine out and welded a new correct sized nut on the inside.

I ordered a new clevis with the correct thread. I got it from Www.pegasusautoracing.com

Clevis is first link and a longer rod is the second link. The stock rod that comes with the master cylinder was not long enough for my application. The 6.2 was too long so I shortened it to where it needed to be.

Did you get a master rebuild kit in order to replace the rod or since it was all brand new you just cut the longer rod and replaced it?

I just took it apart and replaced it. It wasn’t destructive to any component to replace. It was also really easy.
