Cracking noise in reverse

Hello,

Recently experiencing an issue where I hear a loud cracking noise coming from the front passenger side whenever i'm reversing, wheels turned and applying a bit of brake. Every time i'm backing into a parking space I hear this constant cracking noise. What sounds like plastic snapping in half.

I thought it was maybe my wheels rubbing my wheel well liners or possibly my skid plates but after inspecting, there was no visible damage on either.

The weird thing is, if i'm driving forward, wheels turned and applying a bit of brake, there is no noise. Only when i'm in reverse and wheels turned is when I hear this noise.

Anyone have any clue what I can do before having my mechanic check it??

Does it happen only once when you apply the brake or every time you let off the brake and step on it again while backing in? Or, does it happen if you don't apply the brake?

Is the car stock? Mods? Change anything recently?

Only happens when I touch the brakes. Even a slight touch and I'll hear it. If I reverse and turn without braking. No sounds at all.

Just on coils and 17x9 rpf1s. Only changes I did recently was rotating the rims and swapping out the hub rings on the rims. Everything else is stock including the brakes and toes etc

Check your hub rings.
