High pressure fuel pump resistance?
Hey all
I have been fighting a fuel pressure issue and I have been trying to get a local to bring by their car so I can check their pump but no luck so far In my data log high side rail pressure is at around .65megapascals when target pressure is 4mpa which translates to 95psi when I should be at around 580psi. I was looking up on the service manual and checking the specs of the pumps resistance that the pump should have with the connector off https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2dd54758d3.jpg So my resistance should be at .45 - .55 ohms with connector off and I’m getting 1.7-1.9 ohms before I go and buy said expensive pump I wanted to see if anyone can verify this anyone with a known good pump laying around or anyone who would so kindly take injector cover off and check the resistance of their pump with the connector off to verify it. Thank you for your time!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
