Safe to lift BRZ using jacks after riding onto ramp?

Hey guys this will be my first time doing work on my own car, the only problem is because my car is super low, even my low profile jack won’t make it underneath. I want to get my wheels off so I can do some work. Would driving onto a pair of rhino ramps, then lifting the car from that point, removing the ramps and subtituting jack stands be safe to do?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yes. However, if your car is too low, it might scrape the rhino ramp on the way up. You also want to make sure you put the ramps back before you lower the car.

Do you already have the rhino ramps/have you driven onto them before so you know you clear? Like oaroyale said, you might scrape just getting on the ramps if you're too low. Could try something like this:

Low profile ramp and the part of it not supporting the wheel detaches so you can get a jack or jack stand under the car easier without having to completely remove the ramp first.

Thanks guys.

I did just purchase the ramps, haven’t received them yet. So I’m not sure about clearance just yet, was thinking of creating some DIY ramp extensions to clear it.

Ah this looks perfect, may have to consider returning the original ramps. Thanks.

Could have done it cheap and easy with some 2x8's and a 35 degree cut.
Assuming you lift from the center vehicle jack point. And not like some noobs that lifts one side at a time with those silly jack pads

Get some wood and pile it like this.
Then jack.

Even a couple of 2x8s (one under each wheel) should get you enough clearance for a low profile jack for any ride height that's streetable. The problem I see may be the back jacking point, since you have to get the jack underneath after the front is already up and tilting the car backwards. Maybe some 2x8s in the back as well?

If jack only misses by an inch then only one board is needed and so on.
because our cars are about 50/50 jacking from the front point will usually lift the back enough to put a board under the back wheel.
wheel stops are a good idea before and behind each tire on the board.
