At first i thought somebody had put out a cigarette on my bumper, but as you can see the bumper has a crease in it so somebody backed into me?

Either way, is this a simple fix or would this require me replacing the bumper?

Oh, that's nasty......:(

You might consult with a PDR person for the dent.

Some touch up paint would make the "spots" look better.

Rubbing compound may take out the other marks.

Looks like someone bumped it and the rear crash beam was trying to come out from the other side PDR wont fix that. Bumper replacement or body work will fix it.

Yep needs to be replaced

I don't think this was a gentle bump, given the cover has protrusions from the inside out. Check your hood lines, if they aren't even you may have more damage than you think. the corner fender supports are not very substantial and twist easily (from experience). You may also have some damage on the crash bar if that is what caused this.

Yep. Those "Swirls" above the hole are stress cracks. It actually got hit pretty hard. You will need to see what is going on in behind there.

What would be used to repair the plastic?

strip the paint around it, heat and press flat. then 3M plastic repair filler to skim over then sand smooth. about an hour and a half body labor, not much to it.

Good to know! I have personally never had plastic parts repaired so wasn't sure how it would be done. Would always be concerned that the flex in the plastic would make filler pop out but if there is stuff made just for that I would think it would be fine.
