Looking for some help on fitment

Currently I am running Eibach (82105140) Performance Spring Pro-Kit, which lowered the car roughly 1-1.5" all around with the stock strut. Recently I purchased 18x8 +35 wheels and 245x45x18 tires. However now that I have the tires next to my car they look MASSIVE. :bonk: I was doing some research and some people say to go with a 245x35x18 or a 235x35x18. What would any of you recommend for good clearance because I do not want to have to worry about rubbing or rolling my fenders? Anyone have experience with running this setup with the same or similar suspension geometry?

Thank you,
Anthony

245/35 18 would probably be closer to stock circumference. I mean if you're not currently rubbing on 245/45 18, you're not going to rub on 245/35 18.

Well I haven't gotten the tires mounted on the wheels yet thats my main concern is wasting the time and money to mount tires only for them not to fit.

It shouldn't rub.

my $0.02

i had 245/35/18 on my 18x8 front wheels to match the rear tires on my 18x9s. but after driving on them , they were too wide. i took them off and got 225/40 on the fronts. now the steering is better. lighter, more precise. im running MPSS tires. and have eibach prokit spring too.

id suggest getting 225/40 on the 18x8 wheels. they will fit great at +35 offset and the tires are much cheaper!

How'd you end up with that tire size? 26.7", two inches bigger in diameter than stock 24.7"! 215/40-18 or 225/40-18 are the sizes you should be looking at for an 18x8 wheel. The 215/40-18 is stock diameter, 225/40-18 a little bigger at 25.1" but still should be a good fitment.

Also be sure to pick a good tire make/model for your wants/needs and usage envelope. And check actual measured performance data at tirerack.com to be sure you don't get a crappy-performing tire.

Thanks man, I'm probably going to exchange them for a tire a bit smaller in diameter. Also I went with Comp 2s I heard they are a great all season tire.
