Fuel quality and tunes

Hello there,

Im facing a Cel that shows p1235 p0087 and i couldnt figure what it is for 3 months now.
*Sometimes it happens while im just parked and the car is on.
*sometimes it happens when i high rev!
In both conditions the power cuts off immediately and i have to erase the code leave the car off for a few minutes then switch on and drive!

I have the current mods on my car
Jdl uel catted
Trd catback
Perrin CAI
Perrin light weight Crank pulley

And an oft stage2 uel tune!

Our fuel in our country is not that good and our MOGAS 95 would be probably between 92-94 octane!

My question is, is it okay if i tune my car to stage2 uel 91 and refuel what they call 95? Will it fix the issue?

I tried contacting @shiv but no response yet !!

I don't think low octane fuel or tune will cause those codes, both relate to the High pressure fuel pump. It possible you have clogged fuel filter or problem with the low pressure fuel pump in tank as well its not monitored ).

their was a service bulletin out in out country for the high pressure fuel pump code. but you also have second code

P0087 – Fuel rail/system pressure too low
P1235 - High Pressure Fuel Pump Circuit

It looks like you might have a problem with the high pressure fuel pump. these are expensive to replace so maybe take it to a shop to confirm

Back again,

So i sent the car to the dealership !
They changed !

1- fuel rails
2- fuel lines
3- fuel pump
4- high pressure fuel pump

But the issue is still going on, so they ordered me a new EDU and the wait starts !

Will update once they fix it !

Make sure the OFT is unmarried before the new ECU is installed!
