Hello snk828, here is a thread you may wish to review that has an oil leak sorta like yours.

No, that's not normal.

I don't believe a catch can is going to fix it.

You might start by checking the PVC valve and its hoses and connections.

I suggest you clean up the area and see if reappears.

I did clean it few days ago, it builds up little by little everyday. Not only that spot is leaking also around the timing chain cover seal, I can see the oil mark around the seal.

Well, another pesky oil leak ...... :sigh:

Back-in-the-day, when something on my car leaked, I started by torqueing (just tightening in those days) the bolts/nuts that held the suspect pieces together.

If that didn't fix it ...... I would go get a gasket kit and some permatex, take the part off, goop up the gasket real well and slap it back on ......... OR ...... just live with it ....... the barn floor was dirt and absorbed oil real well.

I'll defer to others to recommend what to do these days ...... :iono:

I just live with my timing cover leak until I feel like taking it off to reseal. And it's been leaking for a while lol

Good plan!

Really! Leaks don't hurt nutten if they aren't leaking on something that is not supposed to have oil on it, or, dripping on something that burns it, creating a bad smell ..... or ...... the leaking unit runs low on oil. In the latter case just add some more oil. In the former cases just get a drip pan.

Heck, after all, I suspect that back-in-the-day that some of ol @Tcoat 's cars created, what today would be considered, an EPA superfund clean up site ..........:eyebulge:

Nah. My "good" cars had leaks fixed right away. My beaters either got filled with stop leak instead of oil or had enough dirt on the engine the oil couldn't reach the ground anyway.
Now I must confess that I probably sprayed much more coolant on the ground than any one person should have ever have been entitled to.

Try this one:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VgufM9iLbI"]Crying Indian - The Single Tear - YouTube[/ame]

But you got the gist of it:
It is a short clip of a Native American shedding a single tear.

Although there's a poetic nature to it all: the oil came from the depths of the earth, and to the depths of the earth it shall return.
Ashes to ashes and all that...
