OLM Bixenon Low / High Beam Projector Fog Lights Installation
I picked up the OLM Bixenon Low / High Beam Projector Fog Lights to reveal the wooded surroundings at night on the way back from mountain biking - almost hitting deer every time is far from ideal.
I did some searching and haven't been able to find the locations for the following plugs: "To stock high beam" "High beam input from vehicle" "Fog light input from vehicle" If someone could shine some light on the locations for me I'll happily post up a review after. http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/imag...ss-diagram.jpg |
Here's the headlight harness pinout for a '13 BRZ.
White = Turn signal + Green = Boomerang LED + Thin Black = Common Ground Yellow = High beam + Red = Low beam + Thick Black = Low beam ground Blue = High beam ground You will need to tap your hi beam input connector into the YELLOW and BLUE wires. As for the stock fogs, if you didn't have any, look at the fog installation howto to get the wiring details. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27581 |
Are those harness plugs not intended to plug directly into the factory plugs?
|
Can you show us the actual harness kit you got with the fogs?
|
If you mean you have this harness: http://www.ft86speedfactory.com/olm-...2013-ft86.html
Your BRZ has factory HID, you don't have the hi beam plug that this kit is for. It's not going to be plug and play. |

Where am I tapping in to the "fog light input from vehicle" as I'm not seeing a matching plug - or will that require custom wiring as well? |

At this point I just need to know where to tap for the "fog light input from vehicle"
