FA20 Club Flex fuel kit

I recently purchased an FA20club flex fuel kit and the kit is supposed to be an easy installation. The kit told me to connect a wire from the ethanol gauge to a certain pin on the ecu. I did this and when I turned the car over the car started freaking out and the rpms were everywhere and the car was really shaking. I then proceeded to lose my key and still cannot find it. I took it to the dealer and the programmer is getting no connection from the ecu. He can't program it cause it's not responding. Does anyone know what I did? Maybe shorted out something in the ecu or disconnected a pin. I have no idea what to do because I have no key to try and start the car. Anything would help!(:

All I know is, you picked one of the worst brands to purchase from.

assume you probably connected to Connector A35 pin 20 for evap input. did you remove evap connection ?? else you will have two signals fighting each other.

Did you flash flex fuel tune ??

Can you use ecutek to do a query ecu (assuming your using ecutek) or other flash device to talk to ecu. If flash device will talk to ecu then its ok. however you will need key to turn car on.

So I cut the wire that went into the Evap sensor and connected the wire which led to the ethanol analyzer. What do I need to do to disconnect it. I'm gonna take off the flex fuel kit and reconnect the wire to see if the dealer can program the key without the flex fuel kit on but I'm still confused on how to connect the flex fuel kit to the ECU. The instructions I got to install the kit are so bad I didn't really know what to do.

Unlikely the ecu is damaged if car started and ran, unlikely the flex connection or tune will interfere with them codong in new key
