Who is running after market header with OEM intake tube should check for the melting on the bottom of the intake tube. I have been running after market header for little over a year, I realize my oem intake tube has a hole on the very bottom. :(

What kind of header are you running? Is it a long tube that routes up and then back down like on the left or a regular header like on the right?

If you're running a nameless or similar header you're supposed to remove that resonator and plug it.

This is what I have , JDL EL with coating.

I'm running the JDL header with costing.The header comes with no instructions, and the resonator doesn't contact the header at all.

Replace with inlet hose?

I replaced with cusco intake tube.

Yep, had that happen to me when I had a JDL EL header.
