Do I need toe arms?
I am currently looking to move to coilovers and lower my FRS. On my last FRS I went with B16's and the whiteline F&R camber kits. If I am going to go with LCAs on the rear this time instead of a camber kit, do I need adjustable toe arms as well? thanks

I have had no problems getting toe to zero (or a touch of toe-in) with rear camber between -2 and -2.7 degrees. Depending on your target camber, you could be fine.

Im looking to have 1.5 degrees in the rear so I may need toe arms

I think they're only necessary if you're chasing stance or if you want something easier to adjust. |
You typically only run into issues with the stock toe arms if you're adding, or removing, a lot of camber. If the car is slammed and you want -1.5, you might need toe arms. If it's not dropped that much you're probably fine.

I can get -2 no problem. I tried to get -1.25 and there was not enough adjustment in stock toe. I was changing back and fourth for auto x and daily driving. I have since just settled on -2 and deal with tire wear.

I'm not looking to lower the car that much... I think I will see how the LCA install goes and get toe arms later if needed. There are a lot of mixed opinions when it comes to these squared set ups. I just don't want to get into the install and wish I had the parts, but also don't want to waste the money of it's not necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
