50K Maintenance.
Welp. Time its almost time to do another old change, and i'll be creeping up to that 50K. I usually do oil changes every 3k-3.5 depending on what my schedule is like. Any major services I should be doing around that mile stone? Maintenance schedule I found online was all over the place.

I think 50k is pretty normal. 60k is when you start worrying about Spark plugs, ATF, and brake fluid.
|
you have a new motor, so you're still a long way off from plugs. As for other stuff, you've already done driveline fluids, so maybe brake fluid?
|
Break fluids it is. Drain it all or just top it off?

Basically: Oil Change - every 7.5k Miles (Or less depending on driving habits) Engine Air Filter - every 7.5k-30k miles (YMMV on this one depending on air quality, excessive idling, short trips, urban driving) Spark Plugs - Every 60k miles Brake Fluid - Every 30K miles(Probably Clutch fluid too if applicable) (Fush, you do not drain the fluid. You don't want the system to go dry, it will cause seals to fail and corrosion to occur)) Tranny/Diff Gear Oil - Every 30k miles (Longer if you treat it nicely) Pad/Rotors - Inspect every time you have the wheels off (Can vary wildly depending on driving habits) accessory belt - Replace as needed (When tearing/chirping/squealing occurs) Coolant - 130k miles, then every 75k (YMMV, look at the fluid and radiator cap occasionally for discoloration and residue.) |
