Maintaining DI

Was reading a sign in my local wal-mart and read that over time the hoses that spray the the engine can get clogged and dirty causing less than perfect spraying.

How does one go about servicing a DI system? Also, how often must a DI system be serviced?

Run quality fuel. Run fuel with little or no ethanol content.

Every 20k miles or so perhaps run a bottle of Redline injector cleaner through the system. I've heard a decent amount of positive review about this and never anything bad so it's a small investment.

I'm a fan of the Lucas cleaners as well, I usually run them after every oil change.

by knowing how fuel injectors work and how it should be cleaned, the idles of your car will be so smooth. Im also using lucas cleaners when I filled the tank with gas, it really worked and provided boost in power
