Has anyone installed subframe risers and diff risers? Can someone direct me to a thread or walk me through it? Thanks in advance.

Yeah I have done it.
Old bushings are a bitch to get out. if you do it yourself, be prepare to remove the whole rear end and for some welding, and various other mods. The heat shields around the drive shaft can rub, you will need to either cut sections out, or massage them with a hammer. And ones it's done, its not really reversible unless you buy a whole new subframe. There is a thread somewhere on here about it. http://i.imgur.com/OMpOoVR.jpg http://i.imgur.com/qKbmzPE.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/JmxUtf5.jpg?1 |
It was a big pain in the ass for me too as I don't have much, if any, experience or a shop full of tools for an extensive modification as this. OEM bushings can be tedious, unless you have laser precision accuracy with a sawzal or whatever cutting utensil you can bum off your buddy like I did. Unless you have gobs of patience and time to think yourself through the process and accumulate or borrow the proper tools I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4b1c1fa95a.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fd4232a503.jpg
