OEM foglight install question
 

I was reading up the OEM foglight install DIY and I believe the OEM fogs can only turn on when the headlights are on, correct?

How do I wire it so that it can turn on/off whenever I want it to? I've seen the DIYs for the winjet fogs that does this, but not for the OEMs. These are the DIYs I have been reading up on:

Not sure how the wire harness is but you could just find the hot wire and run it separate from the rest of the lights. That way the switch would be a simple on off.

here's the harness (pix from 1st thread I posted)... i'm not an electrical guy, so i have no idea how to look for the hot wire...
