Adding led Halos as DRLs?

I am new here but I am thinking of adding some led angel eyes/halos when I do my HID retrofit and headlight blackout as soon as I get them in. I was wondering where I can wire in the halos so they function as DRLs? Should I wire them in where the wires run into the resistor? Any impute from someone that knows about this stuff would be great, thanks.

I would imagine you can just tap into the power for the DRLs that are already there to have both turn on, probably after the resistor like you were saying but I would use an inline fuse for it just in case. Maybe someone else can chime in about it because i am no expert, although that is what I would probably try on my own.

TRS sells the halos that fit our car. If you go through them for the retrofit, I'm sure they have detailed instructions.

Are they the projector shrouds?

I'd have to go back and check. I contacted them several weeks ago about getting their retrofit kit & halos, and they have some that fit. I believe it is an 80mm LED ring, though, and it fits both the retrofit kit and the stock projectors.

The led halos they sell that would fit I believe are the 100mm. They attach to the existing shroud that is already there using either adhesive or last time I used a very thin wire to secure them so u can't see it. I was thinking if they just tied into the headlight wires that would work since it is the headlights that act as the DRLs but at a lower voltage and would also allow them to stay on when the headlights are on as well. Does anyone else have any ideas.

Moved to Cosmetic Mod forum since this is not a DIY and you will get more answers in this forum.
