2017 BRZ w/ Performance Package Brake options

Hey guys! I'm new to modifying cars/tracking/autox so I don't know how to tell which pads will work for the OEM Brembos on the 2017 w/ performance package. How do I figure this out?

They should be the same size as the STI, but I could be mistaken or at the very least be missing a small detail. However, I apurchasing some G-Loc pads from Counterspace Garage. @CSG_Mike should be able to help you with any pad questions.

Here is how mine comes across on the invoice.

Just got off the phone with Mike and he suggested entry level track R10 compound pads from G-Loc for track day usage, and said they should work fine for AutoX as well.

Cool Beans, I don't know how many people will want to change out the pads on the PP Brembos. But we are likely some of the first.

I just want more bite from these suckers.

Post up your impressions after the swap. I thought about pad replacement, but am pretty happy with the factory PP setup thus far. I'm interested to hear what you guys think!

Some are collectors and some are drivers. Welcome to the drivers club. :)

The Brembo OE caliper with the OEM pads that the PP comes with certainly improves brake consistency over a completely OEM caliper and OEM brake pad and is great for providing a sporty feel for day to day driving.

I think maybe I just like making purchases from CSG.

Thanks David.

Thanks! Slap those puppies on! I have a pretty good idea of how you'll feel with them on. :)

I will do that. It will be a week or two. I have to complete some other work first before I will get the BRZ up to swap pads.

Well he certainly is a great coach/tutor and I appreciate his incite/experience.

..And then of course the unspoken hero of CSG. The man knocking out the grunt work. Mr. David.

I will just say I appreciate CSG in its entirety.

Thanks to the whole team. I would have wasted time and money without your help.

I'm also looking into brake options for my '17 brz with PP, just got my first service and my tires and brakes are about half gone, was wanting a decent upgrade for pads, but not quite a track pad, just daily driving with some spirited canyon drives pretty regularly.

I know how to find what brakes will fit, I'm looking more for suggestions as I know very little about brands or options. My first concern is just making sure the pad will have better bite than stock, hopefully better life, and I can't imagine anything will dust as much as stock. Thanks so much.
