Exhaust Hole Cover/ Invidia N1 Fitment
Good morning! I'm new to the forum, and I wanted to start out with this thread. In the very near future, my girlfriend and I will be ordering the Greddy Revolution RS exhaust for my BRZ. I wanted to see what everyone would recommend for an exhaust hole cover. We've been doing a lot of research and have been most impressed with how the Innovated Dynamics exhaust hole cover fills the area. We've looked at what other sites have to offer, and aren't too crazy about the gaps between the cover and the diffuser. We just wanted to see if anyone has had better success with other covers or if there are others out there that we are overlooking.
In addition... Last month, we installed the Invidia N1 exhaust onto my girlfriends FR-S. After the installation, we noticed that the fitment was a little off. More specifically, the left muffler sticks out a tad bit further than the right. We both know with aftermarket parts that the fitment won't be 100% flawless, but we wanted to put it out there to see if anyone else has noticed this with their exhaust and if anyone may have a solution on how to better adjust the exhaust for a better fit. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated! |
On the fitment issue the only real way to see much of a change is either go with some stiffer hangers or bend the hanger rods.

I also have the Invidia N1 and my left exhaust wasn't centered at first no matter what I did. But after some time, it settled into position. I'd recommend waiting before making any major changes. Some spirited driving should shake it into place! Also, I did my install with the Cusco HD hangers.

I do a lot of catback installs for locals on a variety of cars, I always use kartboy stiffer hangers on the rear most hangers, and put at least 20-30 miles on cars, being sure to use the full power band and do some at least medium cornering so it settles, heats and cools a few times, and to be sure everything is where it wants to be. The Karboy hangers seem to settle the exhaust faster too, so any adjustments can be made pretty quick.
