Turn signal amber LED's flashing quickly
 

So I could have sworn I saw a post stating the BRZ/FRS didn't care about LED's for any of the lights, no resistors or whatever were needed, but the turn's I put in do flash at the fast (hey a lights burned out buddy) speed, even though they all work.

How do I stop this exactly?

I'm pretty sure you need resistors for the turn signals to stop the hyper flash. All other LED lights shouldn't need it though.

Replace the flasher module (under the dash directly in front of the steering wheel) with the one above. If you are having trouble finding it, turn your turn signal on (while in the garage and parked) and listen for it under the dash.... you'll find it, trust me.

This option is much easier and more reversible than hardwiring in load risistors to each led turn signal and you don't have to worry about it getting hot like the load resisters do either.

There are LED bulbs with resistors built into them if you want to avoid all of that^^^

So is this the thing that's like sticky taped to the steering column under the dash? It wiggles a lot and has a single cable plug going into it?

It does wiggle, but it's got a clip on it not sticky tape.

I've never heard of the LED bulbs with resistors built in...

So how do you get the clip off? I was fiddling with it for 10 minutes and can't get it to release, almost feels like you have to pinch the sides in but I couldn't manage with my fat fingers.

So following my wife home from getting my windows tinted (she had to drive it :) ) I noticed the LED turn signals are a lot less noticeable in the rear than the front.

It's not bad enough that someone will rear end me, hell 99.8% of humanity doesn't use turn signals so that's not a problem, but I wanted to let everyone know this.

Obviously when it gets darker or even cloudier outside, they are fine.

I used a small flat head to pry it out carefully without damaging it too much.
