Trunk Buzz After Sub install
Hello everyone,
I'm posting to see if anybody has the same issue before I pull my car apart going crazy over this buzzing sound. When the bass of my sub rumbles at low notes, it creates a buzz coming from what almost seems to be from the wheel well. I put my head in the trunk and it sounds like it's coming from inside and below these two locations. https://s24.postimg.org/8etb0fdoh/IMG_3066.jpg https://s24.postimg.org/oebyjz9q9/IMG_3067.jpg If anybody has the same issue and has fixed it, help would be much appreciated ^.^. |
Well, the first thing I'd do is to remove everything from the wheel well, then fire up your bass and see if something still vibrates.

Start hitting things with the palm of your hand until it stops. This is not a joke that is the first thing I would do under those circumstances.

pull up the cover and check your spare/tools. it might be the jack vibrating

Thanks for the reply guys, I'll do all those things!

I was definitely going to say it's something under the floor with your spare.
Might it also be the rear parcel shelf? (where the third brake light is) I just installed a sub and amp last week and the parcel shelf seems to be where most of my rattles are coming from. Good luck. |
