Throttle Pedal Sensitivity
Hello everyone,
Thank you for reading. I am asking the community for some help with my throttle pedal. I've done everything this community has to help but honestly It's not where I want it to be. No matter what I do... I still cannot get my throttle pedal to be smooth. I've dialed in my tune. Trims are in within 3% everywhere. Cams have been adjusted by adding 2 degrees starting with the intake.. Timing is advanced uniformly where needed. I've ran DI from .1 to .3... DI up until .3 is the sweet spot for an aggressive street tune. Adjusting torque requested tables so they are more linear. This helped tons with high RPM throttle sensitivity. I changed my throttle activation from 1.5 to 1%. That seemed to help too but I'm not to sure I have to test a different setups. Please any help is appreciated. I've tested many different theories and the ones on here have always worked out perfectly. I'm done with the dial in. Is there anything else I can do to "fine tune?":thanks: |
Can you be more specific about what you don't like? Do you have the manual or auto gearbox?
|
Have you tried replacing foot?
|
I think alot of people including myself think that the on off throttle jerk is tune related, upgrade rear subframe bushings and you'll be laughing
|
nah is it custom or stock rom that u apply the change?
|
Custom tune using Wayne's definitions. Manual. I'm going to upgrade those bushing and get back to you guys with a B&A. What bushings did you go with?
Basically it's just a jolt when just pressing the throttle when cruising to accelerating. Mainly in the 3-4k range. |
my foots pretty big don't see a need to replace it...

Have you driven on the same tune for a at least a week without flashing? After flashing a new tune, it is normal for the throttle sensitivity to be off... usually takes a few drive cycles to get better.
