CEL + Slip Light, 1st gear jolting forward

Just started happening on the way home from work. I noticed the car jolted forward as I was coming to a stop, and this continued to happen every time afterwards. I then saw the check engine light and the traction slip light I think it' called (looks like the car skidding with the two zig zags in front). Not sure what's going on, if it's the tranny.

My car is AT. Turning the car off and on didn't help.

Not my car but this is what it looks like : http://www.ft86club.com/forums/attac...1&d=1351088959

Last month I did the 60k maintenance, changed diff fluid, brake flush, AT fluid, spark plugs, oil change, etc.
Car is completely stock.

Could be many things,

read the CEL code with an OBD scan tool, some auto shops will read it for you.

some possibilities
bad wheel speed sensor
or could even be cam actuator issue

but all speculation till you read the error codes.

Turned the car on today (didn't drive it) CEL was on but Slip light was gone. I used the diagnostic tool and got P0000 which means no fault. The blinking letters were C, O, E, EV, and OH. Not sure what those mean

Do you have any devices plugged into the ODB port? A bad connection could trigger this.

Nah, nothing plugged in anywhere. I have a feeling the tool I used wasn't sufficient for my car.
edit: no problem, light went away.
