Looking for Project Kics Experts.

I've finally narrowed down my choice of wheel fasteners: Kics R26. The only caveat is they're open ended, which brings me to my question…

Will R40 Iconix/Revo caps fit on R26 lugs?

I'm on OEM studs and going with an 18×8 +45 wheel. Will this leave enough thread on the R26’s to accept the cap?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Yes I've searched (and searched, and searched some more).

I vaguely remembering seeing on a merchants website that the R40 caps will not fit R26 lugs. I'm running r26's tho and there's minimal debris that actually gets stuck in the threads, I wire brush the studs everytime my wheels are off anyways.

No, iconix and revo have a lip on the inside of the lug nuts to hold the cap in. It is also why you can't run extended studs with iconix/revo but you can with r26 and r40.

This helps a lot. Even as a vague memory it helps that someone out there may have tried. Thank you.

After all I'm sure merchants/manufacturer would advertise the fact if they were compatible.

Iconix caps are threaded & Revo's are clips. So Iconix will accept extended lugs. Still helpful though, thank you.

I agree with you that Revo's cannot be used with extended studs, only the iconix/R26 (not personal experience though, only research).

It will not work. Have tried this before and they do NOT work!
