Right Turn signal DOES NOTHING ???
Since my BRZ isn't going to be entering the Talladega 500 anytime soon I need to make right turns. When I make said turns I like to signal them to let other drivers know my intentions. When I flip up my signal NOTHING happens. No arrow clicking and flashing on my cluster and no lights. When I put my Hazards on ONLY the left side functions and the right does NOTHING. I think this might be a MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH fix but not sure... I'm pretty noobish when it comes to cars but I prefer to do everything myself for $$$ reasons. ANY insight would be awesome and if there it is the multifunction switch could someone point me towards a D-I-Y on how to replace it. Thanks all.

Were there any changes that you did to the car before this happened? |
Do the windshield wipers come on when you make right turns? Because that happens to me.

Ok, based on the wiring diagram, there are only a couple components that can fail causing the symptoms.
There is only one fuse, one tap to power. It splits between left and right in only the turn signal switch and the flasher module. I could tell you what I would do but it requires a certain level of experience. If you can interpret this diagram, you have a good start. If after studying this you have specific questions, I'll do my best to answer. |
