TRD rear bumper + skirts cutting / fitting templates

1 Attachment(s)
Fitted my TRD kit yesterday, it came with the cutting template for the bumper and the fitting template for the skirts. While you can find the manual easily online, you can't find the templates (or atleast I couldn't). I decided to store the templates for future reference, and then why not share it with the community :)

I've scanned them both on one A4, available for download see attachment

And why not share a pic of the kit fitted too :)

Installation was very straight forward, fitment 100%, no issues whatsoever. Just the skirts leave some room for 'guessing/preference' on how high you want them. I've put them as near to the door as possible. Also for the rear lip, there is no need to remove the rear bumper from the car, just take it easy and you can fit the whole thing while still on the car. Just make sure you don't cut the fog/reverse light wires.

Finally!! I've been searching the past couple months and have held off on the rear since I didn't want to cut without a template.

Thank you so much for doing this!! Now I can finish my install.

Glad I could help. Also use the L shaped piece. It will tell you how high the rear should sit.

It actually looks really nice without a quad tip in there!

From the side angle, yes, straight from behind, not so much:

It looks a bit lost ..

Hi,
For the template, do we just print it on regular 8.5x11 in. paper? Also, do you have a link for the manual. I don't exactly see where the templates would be placed.

Thank you

Hi

The manual can be found here : https://www.google.nl/url?sa=t&sourc...W2Yme0u5mgWftC

The template is a4. The cutting template fits snug around the exhaust cutout, as you can see in the manual , so if you printed with wrong scaling it will show :)

Wait, so i have to cut into the bumper if I want to install the TRD kit? *crosses it off the list*

Thank you so much!! I've been looking EVERYWHERE for an english version of the instructions because trying to figure it out from just pictures was a hell of a time, I'm so happy there's an english version lol

Need your help

So my diffuser is all the way cut off I have no diffuser at all & I want to buy this bumper, is there any way you can walk me threw it like giving me some steps on how to do it since I don’t have a diffuser I figure it will be easier to install, will I only have to screw it in & use the 3m tape or is there more to it?

If your diffuser is completely removed it is as simple as mounting the double sided tape to the bumper cover, installing the bottom clips, lining up the cover, installing the tapping screws in the fender well and then remove the film off the double sided tape and stick it to the og bumper in stages.

Super late to the party, but hope it helps if you have not done it yet.
