Filling in fender body kit screw holes
So when i bought car had body kit. Im not
A fan of them so i removed it. Theres two nasty screw holes thatre already stArting to rust. On the inside rear fender lip, along with those are the two empty holes on the other side of fender lip that come stock. Is there anyway to fill these? To prevent rust and to look like less of a hack job. I was thinkin some sort of body worker filler and a little dab of colour match!? Anyone ever done anything like that? Thanks |

I will still suggest you clean them up, plug them and then maybe paint the plugs. OR ........ :slap: ........just quit worrying about the little things ...... :D humfrz |
Clean up all of the rust, touch it up with paint, and then put in a plug. I like to coat the plugs with a combination of lithium grease+ lightweight oil (best IMO is fluidfilm as its for this kind of application)

if you want to do it properly and not worry about it later, weld it, grind it, little bit of fine filler, paint.

Tin foil ha! Uhg i dont care to do sand grind weld and paint half of my fender because of two little holes. I may just use paint brush and brush the holes with anti rust silver paint and then use two plugs. I thought there would be an easier store bought method for such a common thing. Like an expandable anti rust hole filler up to 3cm or something
