Header 02 Sensor Question

I am currently running the Shiv,s open flash with Grimm speed intake and stage 1 flash. I am planning my header install and stage 2 mapping. I understand running the stage 2 will eliminate the cel light and engine check light. If the stage 2 turns it off to the ecm, is it necessary to then reinstall the o2 censors. Can I just keep the plugs in the header and leave the o2,s unplugged from the connector thus keeping them out of the exhaust stream since they wont be working any way. I am asking because in 2002 I owned a VFR v-tec. I was running a power commander decatted headpipe with a staintune exhaust. The power commander came with 02, foolers that you plugged into the factory harness. I believe they were just asset of resistors because you didn't have the ability at that time turn them off in the ecm. I didn't know if I needed to keep them plugged in to complete the circuit. thanks in advance. regards Steve

The tune just disables the cat efficiency cel code. it does not disable the 02 sensors.

You still need both 02 sensors functioning for afr readings

reinstall both 02 sensors in new header in correct positions do not use any spacers or de-foulers on either sensor.
