Positive FLKC?
While driving the other day with my OFT on, I noticed there were a couple points where the FLKC value was in the positive between .35 and .65 and at a brief point it went past 1. IAM was at 1.00 the whole time, so it wasn't the ECU trying to recover the IAM back to 1.00 after pulling some timing due to knock.
Is there any reason why the car would randomly advance timing like that? Or has the timing been pulled too much in that load/rpm area by the tune and the car is just compensating? |
The latter.
Those cellls could have benefit by advancing the amount of FLKC values. |
I've never seen positive FLKC with an IAM of 1.

Sounds weird that iam=1 and getting positive flkc
maybe logging issue. what is rom calid ? can you post log to www.datazap.me not really possible unless you have done something really weird like changing the flkc correction retard value to positive value in tune instead of negative. this will make ecu ADD timing on knock detections instead of retarding timing |
I'm with Steve.
Sounds fishy...... I also suspect logging issue. How did you know that IAM was 1 at that time? |

I've never seen it do this before, and I have had this tune on my car for months, so maybe it is a logging/display issue. :iono: If I notice it again I'll try to repeat the result and record it on the OFT |

Mr Merchgod reckons its possible, was in subbie legacy ecu but I suspect logic similar to ours. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthrea...html?p=2457316 http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost....0&postcount=24 |
