Stage 2 UEL E85 Tune - Issue - Slightly Nervous and Very New to This
 

The below is with an OFT E85 Tune.

So I've been running E85 for a couple of weeks now and just installed an unequal length header and flashed to the Stage 2 UEL Tune. I took a slow cruise on it and I'm nervous about the levels I was seeing. So, when cruising my AFR would be around 14:1 and when I let off the gas it shoots up to 20:1. I've never looked at the AFR when I left off the gas before so I don't know how normal or how bad this is.

The knock correction was sitting at zero and ignition advancement was bouncing around 40 degrees.

Note, I could hear an exhaust leak from the front pipe the mid pipe which I'm taking care of.

I appreciate any help or advice what to do.

Your injectors shut off when you take your foot off the gas and coast so the AFR guage will go full lean so seeing 20 is normal. Optimal cruising AFR is 14.7. Take the exhaust pieces that are leaking off and spray the gaskets with Permatex Copper Spray then reinstall.

EDIT: Most cars cruise around 35-45 degrees ignition advance and as far as I have observed tuning BRZ and FR-S myself KCA doesn't engage until you are in open loop.

After I sent this, the AFR thing made me feel dumb. I went "duh, you're not adding more fuel"

The other things are what concerns me. I imagine making sure everything is sealed up better I should feel better about.
