E85 Question(s)

Hai there everyone, hope you're all well. Just a few general questions that I can't seem to find answers for.

So a new station opened up decently close to me that has E85. As it's so cheap, and I hear of people LOVING it for the FRS/BRZ, I decided I'd ask how much it would benefit my car, 2013 Scion FRS with 50k miles.

I don't have a Flex Fuel Kit, or a Tune, but I do want the extra all mighty E85 boost I've been hearing about.

Can I put E85 in my car without a Flex Fuel Kit or a tune for it and not have bad long term effects on my car?

Thanks!

Any other information about E85 would be much appreciated.

Short answer, no.
You need a tune at a minimum.

No
Don't do it.
Your car will either explode or not run.

But an explosion would have a cooler effect.

You need a tune, I am going with the OFT method myself, without a flex fuel kit.. its more of a pain to switch though, and not for the feint of heart if you are worried about flashing your car every time you want to switch fuel types.

That said, I like E85 NA very much, and I actually save a little money on overall fuel costs vs 93 in ATl GA. I do go to the station every 150~200 or so miles though now. I don't like letting my car get below 1/4 tank.

I cannot believe this is a serious question. It's not far from, "I'd like the power from a turbocharger but don't feel like buying or installing the necessary parts, can I just sit it on my back seat and get all teh HPz?"
