Autox pads
Looking for an autocross set up. Thinking about running hawk blues in the front and hawk black in the back like the spec Miatas run. Only problem is I can't find a set of blacks for the back of the brz not sure if they make black for our car. Any ideas or opinions. It'll be street and mountain driving more than anything.

Run the same pads f&r.
AX-6 have been really good to me. They can get noisy. |
Project Mu HC+ 800. Excellant initial bite when hot and cold. Great auto-x/DD pad.

Blues and black for parking lots? No way.
Those need heat to work, and you won't get that at autox. The stock pads work fine, maybe some stoptech sports if you want a bit of an upgrade. |
I had the stock pads on for 130 autocross laps and half a dozen mountain runs. They worked well!! I just installed the TRD front and rear set. I will have to drive a bit more to have a more exhaustive commentary about them. But I did some mountain driving or canyon carving last week. They seemed to have more bite when warmed up. I have only had them installed a week or so. Usually for street (generally speaking) TRD is a pretty safe way to go. The TRD pads are for street and autocross and not open track as stated in their description. I autocross and street the car. This is my daily driver. I have driven a WRX with project MU and they worked great!!!
