Sounds like flywheel chatter to me. If the sound goes away when you push in the clutch, then that's what it is. It's not an issue in that case.

Also, good lord with the formatting. Leave that shit alone.

This car makes a lot of weird noises, but for once that one doesn't sound normal to me. Maybe you ought to take it into the dealer.

Doesn't sound like flywheel chatter. Plus you would only hear that if you were releasing the clutch under load. I'm assuming he's in neutral if he has the hood popped with someone filming.

Seems a bit louder than the standard direct injection tapping.

Sounds to me like a bearing in the alternator or A/C pump is going bad.

You may consider taking a long screwdriver, with your ear on the handle end, and placing it around to see if you can pinpoint where the sound is coming from.

Sounds like a rocker arm is loose.

I have heard that on this forum before....one person found it to be the rocker arms, and another more recently a bad vacuum pump I believe.

The throttle sound reminds me of old 4age. LOL


I dont remember rpm but u also get chatter sound when the fuel pump swaps... cant think of it atm but not all injectors are working/not working. Like at higher rpm. urgh
