rear end and axles

Morning everyone,

what is the max amount of power a stock rear setup can handle before breaking. does an upgrade need to happen with a slightly modded 2j swap (550hp)?

Im pushing 710 with no problem yet. Don't fall for the you need all this crap sales pitch.... I should clarify I run dss axles and a stock diff. I broke axles when I was N/A if that tells you how crappy they are.

Have a customer currently that has been through a couple of diffs on his low power tune. Stock diff bushings and sub frame bushings could have aided in the issue. We will be modding a sub frame to put a Ford 8.8" in it. Feel stuffing a modular 9" could be less less then cost effective. Car runs 275 rear tires and hooks from second gear on.
