RomRaider/ECU Flash help

Anyone have experience with ROMraider or ECUFLash that can help me get this to work? I just want to make sure i am doing this right. I dunno if its because it's a 2016 but I can't seem to get it to show the ECU info to change parameters. I live in Camden County but wouldn't mind traveling to someone not too far.

Thanks!

suggest you read the Tactrix link below

read out your stock rom.
save the file as a .bin

if its a 2016 manual its likely ZA1JF40C

open it with a hex editor and search for "ZA1J" you will then find your calid

I was able to save it as a bin but when I try to open it in RR it says ECU definitions not found. But I have the latest defs, I think.

My CALID is ZAJ1F00C

note romraider and ecuflash defs are different and not interchangeble

need 32bitbase and ECUFLASH defs for ECUflash

and romraider defs for romraider

don't mix them up does not work.

So should I put both the 32bitbase and ecu defs in the BRZ folder in romdata folder?

Put them in directories as per the Tactrix thread link below

remove any romraider defs from ecuflash directories

I know they are separated but I'll check.

@stevesnj if you've read the rom then EcuFlash is fine. You just need now a RR ecudef file. see this thread from RR http://www.romraider.com/forum/viewt...hilit=ZA1JF00C

You can put the file in any location, your desktop if you wish. Then open Ecu Definitions -> Ecu Definition Manager window, click Add and load the saved file, click Save.

Now you should be able to open your rom.

PM me if you need help, i'm maybe 20-30 mins from you
