Anyone know minimum spacer size needed for the Stoptech Front 328x28 ST40M Kit with OEM wheels ?

I believe it is 10mm.

BTW - When I did the math to convert to longer wheel studs and the cost of the spacers, it added up to close to the cost of 4 excellent new wheels with the correct offset. So, I just got the wheels.

The spacer you need exceeds what you can safely use on the stock studs, if it answers your question.

So you're stuck between choosing 5-10mm w/ extended studs, or 15mm bolt-on, or proper wheels.

The reason I am asking is because I have two sets of OEMs wheels that I was planning on using for track and AutoX. If I just need 5-10mm spacers on the front I should be able to get away with the Ichiba Version 1 Wheel Spacers for like $95-ish ??

They also have the Ichiba Version 2 Wheel Spacers in 15mm...

I already have 18s, but wanted to be able to use both sets of OEMs wheels for Track / autoX with the Stoptech Front 328x28 ST40M Kit up front...

this is a big one, I did the same thing a while back and was like well this just won't be worth it so I just got the right stuff (new wheels lol) from the get go.

Wheels with proper BBK clearance > slip-on spacers with long studs > bolt-on spacers

That is the preference.

For track, 9 out of 10 groups won't even let you run on track with a spacer.

I am currently running stock wheels with this BBK. I got a 12 mm spacer to make sure they fit, and I am pretty sure the minimum has to be less than 10mm. There is plenty of space with the 12 mm spacer. Now, I cannot tell if it'll be good enough with 5mm....

I printed out the Stoptech BBK wheel fitment template (ST-40 - 328x28) and I am going to check it with 5mm to see if it will work. I will post pics when I do that...

Random bump.. I just installed mine and tried the stock wheel with a 5mm spacer, does not work, the edge of the caliper closest to the hub hits the spokes. 10mm works like a champ...
