Interesting factoid...
Between May 1 & June 30 there were 1,089 Subaru BRZ sold in the United States....

Wow, that's it? Makes me feel lucky after talking with a SoA phone rep earlier today who told me after looking up my VON that my order is "processing" which means it's currently on the ~40 day boat trip to the US! When it hits US shores it will be assigned a VIN and estimated two weeks to get on a truck en route to the dealer. Right on schedule with the "end of July" estimate that my sales guy at the dealer told me :)

1/1089 ;D sheesh so a little over 200 per state. No wonder I have only seen ONE in my area.

Good bit of info, thanks!
If this was a numbered car, I would be one of the 1000 ;) |
Makes me feel lucky to have one.

If there's over 1000 sold, the SCCA can start classing the twins for national competition.

June = 818 Source: http://www.goodcarbadcar.net/2012/05...s-figures.html 500 BRZs per month = 6000 / YEAR 818 BRZs per month = 9816 / YEAR I hope this means production is up! July's numbers might give a better indication since some vehicles may have been here in late May but, just not sold yet. |
