Clutch Squeaking?

I only run the OFT stage 2 tune so its not a power thing. I have 25k miles on my car. Problem is when i push the clutch in it squeaks and squeaks again when i release it. It engages and disengages fine so I'm assuming its an issue with the pedal assembly itself, any ideas?

@wise345 , it could be that the arm (clutch fork) that moves the release (throw out) bearing is dry.

Search. There are many pages on the topic.

search will help, but I'll just say I had the same issue, got really loud and creaky. happened whether car was on or off.

Toyota said the pressure plate and bearing were causing excessive noise from the clutch, and they replaced, under warranty:

SU003-00802 BEARING, RELEASE
SU003-00800 COVER CP-CLUTCH
SU003-02179 RADIAL BALL BEARING

Since they dropped the transmission, I had them replace the clutch and resurface the flywheel, too. Didn't pay for labor since the labor was covered by the warranty work.

I'm boosting in June and am putting in a new clutch. Think it'll solve my problem?

I had the squeaking and it was from the clutch fork pivot

if nothing else, opening up the transmission and seeing what's actually happening should help. I would try to narrow down the source of the sound - make sure it's not coming from the clutch pedal assembly (especially where it passes through the firewall), and see if you can get a friend to push the clutch in while the hood is up so you can pinpoint the sound. Mine was really, really loud - louder than a squeaky door, and I could feel the creak in the pedal when it was happening.

If it's just the clutch fork, you might be able to lube it up if you've got tiny skinny fingers. There's a DIY here somewhere. I don't have sausages by any means but that is a cramped, tiny hole you have to lube up.
